Antianginal therapy reduces myocardial oxygen demand or improves coronary supply, so learners must separate expected symptom relief from ACS red flags and unsafe nitrate administration. For Canadian practical nursing entry-to-practice, the learner must not memorize a list in isolation. The safer pattern is to ask what patient problem is being treated, what physiologic change is expected, what finding would make the treatment unsafe, and which action fits focused assessment, safe administration, patient teaching, documentation, and timely reporting.
