NurseNest exam prep

Prioritization — safety and infection control

NCLEX-style prioritization for safety and infection control: isolation, falls, and immediate harm reduction versus documentation or comfort-only tasks on NCLEX-PN (US LPN / LVN).

Turn reading into reps: pathway-scoped questions, lessons, and timed exams that match what your authorization actually covers.

The judgment frame

These items test isolation, falls, and immediate harm reduction versus documentation or comfort-only tasks.

If two answers look “nursing enough,” pick the one that addresses immediate physiologic threat or legal/safety duty first.

Practice discipline

State the rule in one sentence before you look at options—if you cannot, pause and review a lesson example.

Track whether mistakes are reading errors or priority errors; they need different fixes.

Common questions

  • Is “assess first” always wrong?

No—assessment is correct when data is missing or unstable in a way that changes the plan. The stem usually signals which instability matters most.

  • Does NCLEX-PN use the same priority heuristics?

Core safety sequencing is similar, but scope and authorization differ by pathway—stay inside your hub’s content filters.
