WHNP CAT

Computerized adaptive testing (CAT) for US NP · WHNP. Shorter adaptive run for calibration between full sessions. Same delivery pattern as CAT, with a reduced item budget. Region: US (WHNP Certification Prep).

Session setup

  • Question range: 60–120 items (adaptive length within this band)
  • Time estimate: 3 h
  • Time limit: 180 minutes (enforced in-app when timed mode is on)
  • Experience: Reduced item budget; timed; no backtracking unless explicitly enabled for the pathway.
  • Navigation: No backtracking after you submit an answer (exam-style).
  • Scoring: Results compare your estimated ability to a pathway passing-standard band (not a government or board certificate).

How CAT works

  • Shorter adaptive run with the same one-at-a-time delivery pattern as full CAT.
  • Item budget is capped lower than production-ready tracks; timer still applies.
  • Use the report to decide when to move up to a full-length simulation.

After the session

In the app you get a report-style breakdown: estimate band, category performance, strengths, focus areas, and links back into lessons, flashcards, and the question bank for weak topics.

Live inventory

6337 published questions currently match this pathway's bank filters.

CAT sessions sample from the same scoped pool (up to several thousand IDs loaded per run). 5556 items are flagged adaptive-eligible in the database; the engine still requires a minimum pool size to start.

Counts reflect published items in the US region for the subscription tier tied to this pathway (WHNP). Filtered to exam column values: NP, WHNP, NP-WHNP, Womens-Health-NP.

Launch the in-app CAT shell (one question at a time, timer, exam controls). You can warm up in the question bank first if you prefer.
