Domain relevance: Health Promotion and Prevention is one of the four core domains tested in the CNPLE, comprising approximately 12% of the examination. This domain addresses the NP's role in promoting health and preventing disease across the lifespan, applying Canadian-specific guidelines (Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care, NACI immunization schedules), and addressing the social determinants of health within a Canadian equity-focused framework.
